The Café at the NMHC re-opened as the Wild Rose Café in April 2024 and is operated by local businessman Danny Rowley and his family.
If you’ve not been to the café before then you are in for a treat, literally. As well as enjoying the hospitality of Danny and his team, you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful gardens from the café patio seating area and sample the varied menu of breakfast, lunches, snacks and treats as well as daily specials, tea and coffee.
Danny is committed to local and seasonal produce, using as much of the seasonal organic produce from our Organic Garden as possible throughout the year. Not only does that keep the carbon footprint down, delivered by hand by one of our gardeners, it also ensures his customers are treated to seasonally available organic produce throughout the year. Anything that isn’t eaten is returned to the earth as compost.
The Café is open when the Centre is open and also holds special evening and weekend events which you can find out more about by following the café on social media.
